calibre works on macOS 10.14 (Mojave) and higher.

As you can see, the top one is my default but I can, via the drop down menu, send a book to any one of these email addresses. Plus, you can change the default by selecting the preferred email address and hitting the “make default” button on the right. Calibre has built in email server configurations for gmail and hotmail. Apple Mail verifies your Workspace Account settings and loads your email. Your email is on your Mac and you're good to go! If you want to add your email to another device, click Previous. If you're all set, head to the next step! If you have more than one Apple Mail account, click Inbox and select your new email account to see your inbox. Send to Kindle by E-mail Send documents to your Kindle as an email attachment. You and your approved contacts can send documents to your registered Kindle devices, free Kindle reading applications, and your Kindle Library in the Amazon Cloud by e-mailing them to your Send-to-Kindle e-mail address (name@kindle.com).

1. The application cannot be run from within the dmg. You must drag it to a folder on your filesystem (The Desktop, Applications, wherever).
2. In order to show calibre in a different language, open the preferences (by pressing ⌘+P) and select your language.
3. If you are using macOS older than 10.14 (Mojave), the last version of calibre that will work on your machine is 3.48, available here.
4. If you are using macOS 10.8 (Mountain Lion), the last version of calibre that will work on your machine is 2.85.1, available here.
